How to install
- Switch off the circuit at the MCB and check that the point is dead.
- Bring the switched phase, neutral and earth wires in through the base and screw the base to the ceiling, round sheet or junction box.
- Connect phase and neutral through the brass connectors to a three-core flexible cord, and connect the fixed earth wire and the cord’s earth core to the earth terminal.
- Knot the cord inside the cover so its weight does not hang on the screws, then fit the cover.
Electrical work should be done by a licensed electrician with the supply switched off. A ceiling rose is not a support — fans and heavy fittings need their own hook or bracket.
