This Nano dimmer is the non-modular way to dim a light: its slim plate screws onto a traditional switchboard or a Nano gang box, and the knob sets the brightness from low to full.
It is made for dimmable lamps only: filament (incandescent) and halogen bulbs, or LED lamps marked "dimmable". A dimmer is not a fan regulator — never connect it to a ceiling fan, exhaust fan, pump or other motor, or to tube lights, CFLs and ordinary LED bulbs.

How to install
- Switch off the supply at the MCB.
- Connect the two leads in series in the phase wire between the switch and the lamp; the neutral goes straight to the lamp.
- Push the body through the board opening and screw the plate on through its top and bottom holes.
- Switch on, turn the knob from low to high and check that the lamps dim smoothly.
Electrical work should be done by a licensed electrician with the supply switched off. Use it only on dimmable lamps — never on fans or motors.

- Can I use this dimmer for a ceiling fan?
- No. A dimmer is only for lamps. For a fan, use the Nano 4 step fan regulator.
- Will it work with LED bulbs?
- Only with LED lamps marked "dimmable". Ordinary LED bulbs, CFLs and tube lights may flicker, buzz or fail on a dimmer.
- How many lamps can it dim?
